Step 1: Go to the Monero WUI website, where on the top part of the page, you will see the “Download” tab. It will give you a list of the operating system it supports. Click on the operating system that you are using.
Step 2: Install and run the software on your device. Once installed properly, it will route you to the welcome page of the Monero GUI Wallet. Locate the “Create New Wallet” tab.
Step 3: You have to create your Monero GUI Wallet username. Any username will do as long as you don’t forget it. It will give you a system-generated mnemonic seed that serves as your private key. Make sure to have a copy and store it properly.
Step 4: You may need to create a password. Write it down or keep a copy so you won’t forget it.
Step 5: You will be routed into your wallet’s interface. Locate the settings where you can update your personal information. You may need to sync the daemon into your Monero GUI Wallet so you can start using it.
